does the ATTS unit light come on? if the atts light stays off then the unit is still working. I would pull the ABS code just to see what it says, and if its something telling you dont have a controller device, I would just pull the light bulb out of the dash.

well, the ABS light stays on most of the time, sometimes the ABS light goes off. I just wanted to find out before I went to unplug the thing

The ABS light is on most of the time. The funny thing is, when its COLD (like today, high of 40F) the light isn't on. The light is just annoying, especially driving at night. I just saw unplugging it as an easy solution to making the light go bye-bye. If it's just a wheel sensor, I have a set of 4 sensors here I can replace it with....I tried checking the code but it just didn't work.

checking abs codes are a *****. its hard to pull them. just take the gauge panel out and take the bulb out, same effect

I'll try to pull the codes again, when I pulled a CEL code before it was relatively easy. Thanks!

the abs code requires you to do something stupid with the steering wheel. i've only ever gotten the code successfully once.

i'd think as long as the atts light isn't on, then it'll still work when you unplug the abs - but taking the bulb out is just as easy

whens he last time you changed your brake fluid? sometimes those light blips occur because of the temperature change...
