Idle and Rev-Limit Issue.

99 Prelude, base model. Cammed and built bottom end.

The car has been sitting for quite awhile, waiting to get sold, I replaced the 02 sensors last week, when I start the car, it idles fine, but WILL NOT rev past 3k RPM's. It just starts bogging down. If i try to keep revving it it will not even hold idle anymore.

Pulled the codes and got Crank-shaft Position sensor fault. I assume this is what is causing my issues. How much am I looking at for a new one?

TIA

Just called Honda, they want 300 some-odd bucks for it, anywhere I can get this cheaper, I need to car to run to get it sold.

Thanks for the quick response. Does replacing the part involve pulling the engine apart, or is the CPS located outside. The car is only getting sold for 4300 bucks so paying someone 250 for the part + XXX in labor isn't looking good for me. I have the skills to pull the engine, just not the time or will at this point.

****, I had a feeling it was down there. I can deal with pulling the TB need be, just annoying when the car ran fine 2 months ago haha. I had a buyer then too but they backed out, i guess they knew >_<
