So far as I can tell only SH and OEM kitted Preludes come with the painted skirts. My 99 Base has black sides and rear.

All BASE models have those side sills and rear sills in matte grayish/black, all SH models and SE ( i think) come body colored match. Hope that helps. If I'm wrong with the SE in Canada, someone please correct me.

IF u r talking about the OEM body kit they take off the plastic moldings and put the kit pieces on.

If u r talking about the SH moldings it is the same way

Yup. Take a peek to confirm: http://english.honda.ca/models/carco...s.asp?Options=(102)&TrimID=17&Residual=1000&NonResidual=0&colour =Premium_White_Pearl&v_Fr=config&v_To=warranty#Ext erior

As far as the other options are concerned:

Everything the Canadian base has +
- CF trim
- leather
- SH rims

...all for an addtional $500 CAD!

p.s. The SE doesn't come with a spoiler either.

oops! I just realized that I didn't copy the link properly. Needless to say, just check out honda.ca and personalize your prelude...and check out the specs of the SE

I really like the OEM kit on the 5th gens. If you're buying from a dealer, kind of hint that you don't really want the car unless it has the kit. They'll do almost anything to make a sale, but I highly doubt you'll get it for free. Maybe discounted though. Good luck!

U might be able to cut a deal or knock down some of the price and if they don't buy it from www.hparts.com or www.handaccessories.com for cheaper prices
