I am looking to buy some Type SH sideskirts for my 01 base prelude. My lude is E. Blue but it can be any color SH and i will get them painted to match my car. If anyone has these and r willing to sell me them...how much? and u can email me at JB218x@aol.com or just let me know on this thread.

ru looking for the original sideskirts from a SH??? Y do u want them or need them??? I have a 97 SH red...and am getting a body kit soon...and might be willing to part with mine!!!

Why don't you just get your stock one painted. Thats the only difference with the side skirts between the Base and the SH models.

I askd the body shop and the guy there said they cant paint that plastic for some reason......does anyone have their base plastic ones painted?

The SH side skirts are not just painted base ones. They're a different shape and made out of a different type of plastic.

the black plastic could be painted, just involves more work!

It involves:

Sanding down the rough surface(most time consuming part)!!!
priming the plastic for paint
paint(2 coats at least)
seal w/clearcoat

it's not gonna be easy stripping a non-EBP SH sideskirt either!

Y not look into getting an EBP SH kit or an OEM kit??
