I need tire opinions.

I have yokohama paradas right now that are pretty close to bald and is causing a bad pull on my car. I need new 17" tires and I was wondering is there a different brand I should look into? I just need something affordable and not really performance. I'd like it to be safe too of course. Any opinions on different brands would be much appreciated!

Bridgestone and Dunlop (except SP 9000) make really good tires. I would recommend one of their products as your next.

Bridgestone RE7XX, cant remember the other ones right now off the top of my head... goto www.tirerack.com to see the performance tires. Kuhmos are good for the money, but for a little more you get to get a little more tire if you want that sort of thing. Depends on if these are just street tires or if you are gonna race onthem. If they are just street, get the Kuhmos, although you might want to get a second set of tires for snow if that is an issue.

Yeah, thats it, the 730's. A very good Bridgestone tire. A Civic Si guy was running them all year and did pretty good on them at the local autox. I think that they are his favorite. If I wasnt just replacing two tires for one blown one right now, I would probably get them over the Yokahoma A520's for my summer tires.

Um... my tires have probably been on for about 1.5-2 years now? I don't really remember when I got the tires... they were an impulse buy... but I drive on them really hard. REALLY HARD. My car was at ~2 inch drop on Eibach Sportlines and that killed them... I had it back at stock for about 9 months and took 10mph corners at like 40. Anywho, I abused my tires so I can't really tell you how long they'd last... but they seem like they lasted pretty damn long if it weren't for my suspension pull.

Anyways, thanks for the opinions everyone. Oh by the way, I have 205/45/17... I just want something that looks decent and drives. I don't plan on hitting any auto-x's soon.
