I love rippin crap out.....!

So far I've thrown out the following:

cruise control
vibration dampener
rear seatbets
front absorbtion matts
resonator

I need some more ideas. Want to keep the interior looking stock, though.

Any more stuff under the hood?

I wish NTPOG would do a step-by-step A/C removal! Is the sunroof motor easy?

BTW, I'm a handling man--I'm not doing this to win races.

if you have a sh maybe the atts? but if you're a handling man then you'd want to keep that.
how about the power steering?
if you want to go crazy you could do the electric doors.

Do you just cut the PS belt and take the whole thing out?

Is the steering heavy only at parking speeds?

By vibration dampener, you mean that flux capacitor thing in front of the radiator, right?

You can pull the rear speakers & the AFBS box for ~10 lbs. Or the entire stereo for more . . . . The airbags are probably worth a few pounds.

I know it's not much - but the little plastic brackets around the brake hard lines aren't necessary. Another 3 or 4 oz. of weight savings . . . .

Look around, you can probably find a fair amount of little mounting brackets that aren't strictly necessary. Replace with zip ties, etc., and you might save a couple pounds at the end of the day.

Just a thought.

drill hundreds of 1" diamater holes in the frame, take outt he metal guard under the steering column that protects your knees in a head on colision from the steering bar breaking in 2,

cut out all the supports on your hood and trunk

then sell your prelude and get a lighter car
