I hate canadians.

Ok, I don't hate you. But I'm jealous of the nice 5th gens you guys get up there, especially the seat warmers and heated side view mirrors. Before you say that us Americans don't have to deal with the bitter winters that you do, let me just say that some of us actually live in the northern midwest. I live in Detroit all of about 25 minutes away from the Canadian border, so it's frustrating that about 30 minutes away they were selling Preludes with heated seats and mirrors standard!!

Ok, now that I've vented, anybody know anything about these two items? This winter has shown me that I could really use heated seats or side mirrors. I'd even consider spending money on this because it would not only be different but actually useful too.

Any non-Californians looked into either of these? (non-Calis because you guys have 72 and sunny weather all year round & don't need heated seats.)

Why do you hate "America Jr.?"

This was a Simpsons joke btw...

I don't really care for the heated seats (I love cali muahaha) but I do wish they offered freakin leather!

I live in southern cali in the mojave desert and it gets cold as hell down here. I've even seen it snow (not massively) once or twice.

Drive up here, go to your Honda dealership and ask them to install it. Call ahead if you want - I don't see why they wouldn't do it - all the wiring is already done. It's just - do you really want to spend that money (even if it is worth 1.5 times more than ours... )

I might make some calls. I wouldn't mind driving into a local dealership in Windsor, giving them a $20 (which is what, $3000 CDN?) and getting the seats, mirror and maybe an OEM body kit. Hehe

Hey... did you Canadians also get a 3 spoke steering wheel like the JDM Type-S? Just curious...

Oh, what about the rear window wiper?

Ok, so what exactly do you get?

- leather
- heated seats
- heated side view mirrors

Anything else?

Also, I know I've asked this before but I'll ask again. Does anyone know if the automatic one-touch down switchgear for the driver's side window can be used for the passenger side window on either door? It would be nice to have one-touch down on both sides. I'm all about productivity when driving my car, you see.

America Jr.? Never!! Although it might be very easy for Bart to make our basketball team.. considering that guys like Magloire and Fox don't want to play.. losers..
Btw, I'm loving my heated seats right now! sphinx99: don't forget to ask for the oversize (4L?) windshiel washer reservoir.

Oh yeah! That's right! I never noticed that till now. Did you guys even get the 1st gen EL?

At least your civic 4 doors come with a sunroof option. Ours don't. You guys even have more models to choose from than we do.
