Hey,
I've got myself a 2001 silver SE and I love it. I really enjoy the car alot! I still get excited when I walk up to it before a drive. But the other day at work I was trying to avoid actually doing work (it was friday) and I started looking around. I will have my car all paid off by this september and I figured out that if I sold the lude, and used all the money on a down payment, I could be driving a 330ci for the exact same payments (and that was with a low sale price estimate) plus I turn 24 in june so my insurance would be lower as well.. (although probably higher if I got myself into the bimmer.
Most of it is just me talking but the idea is very appealing. But having an extra $500 (~car payment) in my pocket a month would also be very exciting...
what do you think? Crazy talk? or something to consider?
yeah i would keep the lude and keep the money in your pocket... unless ofcourse you were thinking about the lancer evo which is comming here soon.. then i would say SELL SELL

I agree 100%.....
One little letter and one little number is all you need...... M3 (I would suggest an M5 over an M3 but those are waaaaay out of your price range probably)
Test drive one... if they let you... and you will fall in love!!!!
i was thinkiing if you can't afford the M3 then save up a little for the Xi.
btw the WRX STi will put out 261 hp and 256 lb./ft. torque when it reaches the states.

yeah, but the Lancer Evo looks much better than the STI. Either way, both cars are gon be hard and fun to drive. It might be time to sell my lude....

But the Subaru is much , much, much more reliable car.

No... the Silvia is NEVER coming to the states......
Buy an older 240sx (89-94) for REAL CHEAP..... and get a FULL Silvia conversion..... motor, front kit, back kit.... EVERYTHING!!
You'll have a brand new car, sort of, (car looks new - engine has 30,000 miles) for about 15k..... wont pass smog though, so find a 'hook up' before you decide to do it....
the 330 handles like a sedan. a good sedan, but nothing compared to the sporty handling of a prelude. if i were in ur shoes id invest more in the prelude.

The 330 is not a sedan, it's a coupe. If I were in your shoes, I would definitely get the BMW. A honda is great, it's efficient sporty, and well thought out. A BMW on the other hand is a german driving machine. Can you imagine yourself when you're thirty driving a modified prelude as your daily driver? A BMW on the other hand is timeless. I dunno, I'm immensely biased in favor of the BMW, M3's have been my dream since I was little. You would want to consider insurance before you make your decision though. BMW's get the women too.
