i was supposed to pay 50 at this one place..but they kept putting off the damn install ...like 3 times.. so i took my money..and went to this other place that does good work but charges you up the ass...i paid 100 if i remember correctly

Well hey, if somebody posts intrustions on how to do it yourself, I'll do it myself. No prob. Please post. I need details though - I'm dumb :-)

Check out this write-up from the FAQs. It should have everything you need to do it. Definitely give yourself a few hours for the job.

Its easy enough to do it yourslef, but I understand what comes up and the cat bolts can be a real *****. I paid $40 for mine, just had him throw it on when all of the other tranny work was being done.

Yeah my uncle is a certified mechanic (worked for GM 12+ years) and his service guide said 1 hour.

That is if none of the bolts are rusted!-all of mine were rusted at the cat!

The job took us 2 hours but I ended up only paying for 1 hour=$35

My header was by far the toughest install I've done thus far-and I've done all my own work (with my uncle's help on the header)
