how much to shave/paint - Honda Prelude Forum

i need to paint my eyelids, shave the PRELUDE off the back and shave the H off of the hood, how much should that cost, while i get it done is there anything else i can do?

prelude off back you can do urself......actually it hink everything you listed you can do yourself the only thing is filling in the holes that are there after you take off the "H" symbols

Yeah the PRELUDE on the back is just stickers. I just peeled mine off.

I only had the H off the hood and that was $400. They have to weld 2 holes and prep. The paint work requires that the hood be shot completely with both base and clear and that is what makes it expensive. The letters on the bumper cover are easily removed and if the paint is new enough will leave little or any fading-otherwise you are looking at about $200 to refinish it-they have to use flex additive and it isn't cheap.
