How much does the dealer charge for getting the complete OEM Kit?
FOr the 2001 Prelude
like the front, rear, and side skirts
how much would it cost?
i went to www.handaccessories.com and it totaled about $700US
and i went to wingswest.com and the RS Kit for the 2001 prelude cost $700US too!!
so OEM or Wings west both cost the same....
how much does would it cost at the dealer when buying the car?
cuz if its that price, i mind as well get the RS instead cuz it looks better
but does the Wings West RS kit the same material as the OEM one from honda? Does it fit really good?? I want good quality and dont want it to like go out of shape or crack if its suckier quality than the genuine honda one...
if you're going to get WWRS.......get it from newwayautosports or you can go to ebay and search for spetzna1.......they're the same person
its $510 shipped to your door there
as for looks.......its ur opinion
materials.......OEM kit is hard plastic, the best material a kit can be made out of
wwrs on the other hand is made of urethane......which is better than fiberglass in that it won't crack or break when hit......but will warp under **intense** heat and pressure, but should be fine under normal conditions
the strength and quality of both kits are good, way better than a lot of kits out there.....price wise, WWRS is definitely less expensive than OEM....just get whichever one fits your style
don't forget if you get the WWRS for $510.....you still need to pay to get it painted and installed.....if you get OEM kit.....its $700 for an already painted and matched, perfect fit guaranteed body kit
the end price result is the same or about the same.....just depends which one you like better
www.newwayautosports.com www.ebay.com <=== and search for "spetzna1" OR type in "Prelude Kit" in the search box and look for the wings west kit and a gallery picture of a red lude ( i believe they used vooboo13's picture)
(spetzna1 and newway are the same person, just at ebay you can skip the quoting process if there's no one bidding on the kit at the time, just buy it now for $510 free shipping)
wings west should be cheaper here then.............i think it looks better than the OEM. since too much people have it..but i lke the oEM look too....hehe its nice and clean...i like the Blue colour especially

1.) It ain't anything special. It was one of Vancouver Honda's perks/gifts for buying a vehicle from them. All new vehicles purchased from them got one. 2000 was the last year they offered it though. With it, you basically get 15% off parts and servicing.
2.) Yeah, I think we PMed each other a while ago. You live near Robson don't you?
3.) Yup
4.) 14% sales tax on all cars below $35000. Anything higher, you get charged luxury tax. (I think luxury tax is something like 3% but I am unsure )

www.hondaclub.com for the same thing. $35 a year w/ great discounts. Check it out
btw, i just installed the front lip in about 15 min. The sides took about 30 min for both. but i heard the back is a bit tougher since you have to remove the rear bumper first. It's quite easy, just make sure that your car is clean and it's not -30C outside!!! have fun!
rear bumper....easy to take off.......much easier than the front bumper......my brother and I took off the rear bumper and put it back on (because i had to refit it) in about 10 minutes
