I was just wondering how much 5th gens ran for back in the late 90's when they were brand new. I just read that they were the best handling car under 26k back then. But i was still in elementry school in the mid 90's so i wouldnt know.

my 99' base 5 speed with no options was 23,868 with delivery. tax extra.
i would have to go look at the sticker for my 00' SH but I think it was high 26's.

My window sticker says 23,600 delivered I'm pretty sure. But after tax it should come out to...yeah, around $25k+... Just like the guys who actually bought their ludes NEW!

IIRC SH was 26k and base was about 24k. I remember the base model was about 2k~2.5k less than the SH.
