How many KM's on my H22a?

Hey guys,

So it has come to the time where I should sell my prelude. 3 years ago I had the engine replaced with a japanese imported motor. It was stated it had between 60,000-70,000km's on it. Which means the engine now has around 120,000 km's on it. I had the engine replaced by my friends father who is a mechanic, but he did it at his home which means I have no paperwork to prove the condition of the enginge.

My question is if there are any devices or other options to determine the condition of the engine. Ive heard of an OBD2 reader, would that help?

Thanks all!

Compression test is probably your best bet. Won't prove mileage, but would at least give an idea of overall motor health.

even professionals have tough time to guess how much kms/miles the engine has... best way would be open the engine and see how much valve seals/piston rings have weared. I hope that they newd all the seals what there is and they just didnt slap the engine there without rebuilding it - because problems are coming without rebuilding it!
