How hard for DIY brake jobs

I ordered some cross-drilled rotors and pads for all 4 and was wondering is it worth it to just pay someone to do it or do it myself and save some money. I've done brake pads before but not rotors yet and looked at the write up on NTPOG. Should i do it myself or pay someone to do it?

if you can do pads then rotors not much more work. the hardest part was getting those screws out of the rotor, you really do need an impact driver

yea...i think imma go to sears and get me one. So those impact drivers just require you to hit it hard with a mallet or something right?

I didn't need an impact driver for mine, just a screwdriver that was the right size for those screws.

The hardest part is just loosening the Caliper bracket. Then again, any part that is rusted will give you problems. Anyway, I say go for it - especially if you have air tools .

I just use a ratchet with a phillips bit on the end........ never needed an impact driver.
