Honda Oil Filter Question ....

I bought these from www.hondaautomotiveparts.com and I got these skinny looking oil filters. The one pictured on the left is what I've been using for years on my 5th gen. I got a bunch of these skinny little Fers on the right now. Will these work or did I get the wrong ones?

Left Part Number: 15400-P0H-305
Right Part Number: 15400-PLM-A02

You have the new filter that Honda has mandated for use on all Honda's for the past year. I'm assuming that you haven't bought filters during that time? They switched over to the smaller filter last year. It's the same construction (I believe, though I see yours says Honeywell) as the old one just smaller filtraction area. If that bothers you buy the S2000 Honda filter next time around. Those remained their old side and are manufactured in Japan instead of Fram Canada.

Ahhh ic. Good I don't have to return 10 oil filters. I usually buy like 10 at a time and this is my second batch I've ever bought.

Thank goodness.

I've heard that they actually work better. I can't remember from where but now I have to get a new filter wrench I've been doing it by hand since they switched filters.
