hey, i just got my prelude. and it came without the rear H emblem. i tried 2 H's before i ordered an original from honda. it came with the plugs already on it, and i already have plugs in my trunk. do i take the old plugs out or take the new ones off? i dont want to scratch up my car trying to do this.
thanks,

Firstly, that's what she said And now that I have you, there is a clip that retains the emblem to the trunklid of the 'lude. (illustrated as ref #11 in this diagram)

Remove this clip, and it should boil down to a matter of prying the emblem off of the trunklid. I have heard of some people using dental floss, heat guns, hair dryers and even razor blades to remove the front and rear emblems; however, I wouldn't recommend using something as sharp as razor blades. It'd really be the pits if you ended up scratching the paint on your Prelude..

Since the question has been asked about the badges, I have a question about getting the retainer clips pushed tightly onto the backs. My badges have been pulled slightly away from the body and are slightly loose. Is there a way to push those back or do I need to purchase new clips?

^Clips might be bad, I just rebadged my car after getting it painted, the new ones came with clips as well as double sided tape on the back.

2 sided tape.. humm, might try that. Question tho how or what do you use to get to the back of the the badges to push the clips up tight?

They aren't really "clips" more like a small pin that sits in a retaining pocket i suppose...

You get new ones when you get a new badge. Remove the old and just push in the new - then put your badge on.
