Homemade cold air intake....

The resonator in my Prelude is obviously removed, because under the stock air box is a hole that goes straight through the body panel to the street. The bottom of the box is also removed. You can look up into the wheel well from outside the car and see the air filter. There must have been a CAI on the car at one time, eh?

Anyway, I figure with a K&N drop in, the car will be pretty much maxed out for intake gains....at least by 98VTEC's great dyno info. Does this sound correct? Or should I also buy a type-S and waste some money?

Personally, I loved my AEM V2, it felt and sounded great on the butt dyno.

With the resonator removed I wouldn't stick with OEM or Type-S. Unless you put one back in.
