I took my guages out this weekend along with the JRSC. Now I'm left with 4 small holes and one large hole in the plastic Pillar. I plan on selling the car soon and need to get rid of these holes. Do I need to replace the entire pillar, and if so where would I get the replacement pillar from? What have some of you done about these holes? I posted a pic to show the location of the holes.
why are you selling it? Anyway I don't think you can fill the holes w/anything that wouldn't look terrible. You may have just buy a new pillar. Try a junkyard you could probably find one there pretty cheap.
i gave up on a Z for that much i can get a TT supra....i think
I can get an Enthusiast 350z w/ LSD, Xenons, cruise, and mats for ~$27,500. To get a Supra with less than 100k miles I'd have to pay ~$30k, and then factor in insurance. Thats for a car that is going on 5 to 10 years old and possibly abused.. I'd rather have a brand new car with full factory warranty. If I decide I need more speed, I'm sure the aftermarket will be happy to give me a hand...
nah 350z will never compare to a supra(hp wise)...so what??? you buy a supra for performance not cuz you want to pay high insurance...swap in a 2JZ engine and upgrade the turbos and that car is like whoa! and besides nice big intercooler in a big front opening on a supra from a aftermarket body kit makes me feel all tingly inside lol

I hear ya, makes more sense to me to just get a brand new car too, but a TT supra would be pretty bad ass

who's got that kind of $ laying around to just swap in a 2jz.....not me
I didn't say a 350z would match a Supra in horsepower. I said if I felt the need for some added power then I would get some aftermarket parts. I like Supras a lot.. Supras are great for power, I'm just tired of everyone saying that they would get a Supra instead. I find Supras to be very overpriced for an aging car. The 350z is far superior in the handling department and to me looks great with some 18's on there.
On a side note if it was scary power I wanted I would buy a 240sx for $2k drop in a SR20det and upgrade the turbo. Instant 11 second car for ~10k.
oh on another note...did you use the cheap o' plastic rivets to mount the gauge pod or did you use something else??? im thinking about using screws since it looks like mines starting to sag

you might try to find some plugs at like an autozone or something, they might have something that looks similar to the factory color. now that I think about it, you might be able to use some of those plug things that hold your trunk liner in. Pop your trunk and look at what I am talking about. I imagine it might be kinda spendy to replace the whole pillar on the left side.
