I hit VTEC whenever someone challenges me or when I'm behind someone slow getting onto the freeway. There's nothing better than hitting VTEC and blowing by someone as they try to merge into traffic.

even tho it consumes more gas....I can't get enough of VTEC...I use it all the time. I mainly drive on the freeway tho, not too much in city, but I still do that too. No one can really use it through every gear, but bout every chance I get, I'm on it. I definitely drive it like I stole it! I still baby my car too, but what's the point of havin VTEC if you don't use it.

i only hit vtec when i'm racing, trying to pass someone, or when i'm trying to merge into oncoming traffic. it's a waste of gas in my opinion to hit vtec too often.

i hit vtec about an average of 5-7 times each time i take the car out

i take the car about maybe 15 times a week.....

each time i take it into vtec its always 1st gear-----8000 rpms
2nd gear------7500
3rd--------whenever i feel like letting off usually 7000 (around 85-90 mph)

heh... riiiight...

ne ways..., i'm gonna try to lean out my fuel curve a little more to try and cut back on nastiness on my bumper. I belive it is only -1 right now all threwout VTEC and for the VTEC crossover. I'm gonna bump it up to -3 and see wut happens. I'm gonna leave the crossover @ -1 cuz it hits REALLY hard with that setting for some reason.
