I have read so many threads about which cat is better than another that it's literally driving me crazy! lol I think I've decide based on what I've read that I wanna go with the magnaflow/Car sounds but I have no idea what to get as far as sizing or length. I know I need the 2.5" or 60mm but I don't think my parts searching skills are that great yet haha so if someone wants to send me a link for what i need that would help out alot. I have an 01 SH with Hytech replica header and a APEXi WS2 catback. also if you can tell me the flex pipe i would need as well that'd be great. I've pretty much came to a stanstill as far as parts ordering goes haha

Reason: Title
just get some ¤2,5" flex x 3-4" lenght like I already told you
you can find them from ebay or just go to some autopart store/exhaust shop and ask! you have to learn to search for parts by yourself. NO-ONE is going to do these things for you! we can give you recommendations and hints but its up to you to get everything work.
you dont have to do new topics about your every exhaust problem, you can use your first one for everything
You can get Magnaflow/Carsound cats on Ebay for a lot cheaper than $135. Check Carsound's website for model numbers and then just search on ebay.

So I decided to go with a vibrant VIB-7038 2.5" cat. I got it pretty cheap so if I dont like it I'm only out 70 bucks. Time to look into some intake manifolds and headwork!

Yeah, I did the SH to base swap on my 97 and that's another reason why I'm trying to keep this one an SH, kinda something new for me I just gotta figure out how I'm gonna go about it. I know it wont be as fast as a base could be but I'd still like to see what I could get out of.
and I was looking into getting the euro r from rosko and seeing how that works with it.

The Rosko Euro-R intake manifold works just fine with SH models.

My SH would have eaten you, especially around curves.

Magnaflow with a stainless steel core. I have heard that after 1 year or two that they go bad if you get a ceramic. My OEM cat burnt out in the middle causing the annoying rattle. The rest of the insides were clean though. Still don't know what caused it. Honda mechanic said he didn't know either. Just a bad catalytic converter I guess.
If you are going for a new cat get a magnaflow 2.5" replace the resonator and get a muffler shop to run 2.5 mandrel bent stainless steel back to a magnaflow street muffler. Not to loud but just right. I gained 15-20 HP replacing cat back w/ cat, res, and muffler. DO NOT REMOVE THE RESONATOR AND STRAIT PIPE IT! seriously, really high pitch whine on the highway, annoying as hell and sounds really ricey. Without the Resonator you loose back pressure which looses HP and Torque, not to mention it can make your exhaust sound like crap.
