He mentioned in a previous post he got his kit from autolamps online. They have their own kit that they sell, which according to AndoOKC is the best HID kit to buy next to his custom projectors.

when the HID starts to settle down from being ignited, the color of the light a bit yellow/white, but when looking upon the ground it is really white.

Yea, only the Audi TT, S4/A4, and E46 will fit. However, I am currently investigating the S2000. Im thinking that I can get it to work. I might buy an S2000 housing and gut it and do some experiments. Also, I know how to adjust the cut off shield to give me any array of color that I want. I can also do this with the Audi TT and E46. I takes some knowledge of HIDs to get it to work and some skill with your hands. Im also looking to manufacture my own chromed plastic pieces to give more aestheitc appeal to these housings. I'm thinking i can vacuum form my own plastic but I will have to refine that skill first. I have seen some of my friends on the philips automotive lighting site do it before.

Im taking a year off before I go to med school. So im gonna have time real soon to learn alot more about HIDs (if there is anymore to learn that can be applicable to these projects).

I had my cousin drive in front of me and he said they did look bright but not to the point where they were blinding him. Well, I'll lower them a bit, but just for you!

Audi TT HID projectors installed and tested for the past week now

Yeah, Andookc did a nice job on my headlights, I only had to make minor adjustments with the stock Honda vertical aiming screws. I still need to refine the adjustments a little bit, though I think I have a nice clean cutoff which appears to fall below other drivers' eyes and minimizes glare. I sealed the back of my headlights with automotive hose repair tape to keep moisture out, I figure the tape should be water proof and heat resistant. I think this is the best way to do a HID retrofit if no factory kit like Sylvania's Xenarc sealed beams are available for your car.

No those arent E-codes. S4's are the only readily available e-codes for some reason. To get audi TT e-codes, you would have to order them direct from Audi in Germany (not a very cost effective idea).

hmm, I'm difinitely considering this project in the future. I commute to school everyday and every night driving home, I can't help but say to myself how ****ty the stock prelude headlights are. Everytime I see a E46 or audi with HIDs I just drool.
Is there a way I can get your email so I can keep in touch with you for when I finally get all the necessary parts ando?
thanks.

my email is "vick@ou.edu" or "poboindo@hotmail.com"
my AIM is "AndoOKC" and my MSN is "poboindo@hotmail.com"

there you go. I have another headlight to do in the next couple weeks. This guy wants the S4 e-codes.

Take care and try AIM'ing me if possible.
