Help w/ idling

hey guys wats up, i got sum idling issues this weekend during the install of my aem v2 intake...i had sum cheap intake on b4 so all i really did was replace the intake pipe & filter wit the v2 and i put in a new breather hose and water bypass hose , ever since i replace the bypass hose the next day my coolant reservoir tank started to overflow, i noticed a little leaking from the end of the bypass hose that connects to the throttle body - I didnt tighten it enough ...so now I tighten the clamp and fill baq up my radiator w/ coolant and drained sum out of the reservoir tank so its baq normal...i disconnected that black box behind the battery thats for the IAC valve and the line that ran to the manifold and capped the line and the nipple at the manifold, do i still need this box? i didnt take out the stock intake resonator box yet but ever since the install of my v2 i been getting constant fast idling from like 1k - 1200k and sum from like 800- 1300...i cleaned the iacv in front of the manifold, it had carbon build up inside but it didnt seem to help...any suggestions???

Sounds like you still have an air leak. Check the hose at the breather and make sure that is all tight.

Since you messed with the coolant system you should burp it to get any air out. See my post in this thread: http://www.preludeonline.com/showthr...25#post2789725

And no, you don't need any of the air intake crap that is next to or under the battery. You can get it out by taking the undertray out. But you can't see what you are doing, only feel. It's easier if you take the front bumper off.
