Help! Tach needle screwed up after indiglo install

Alright, I'm probably an idiot for screwing this up, but when I was putting a new set of indiglo gauges on, my tach needle popped out about 3/4 inch or so. I pushed it back into the cluster almost touching the gauge like it was, now the movement is sluggish and not very responsive. Any way to fix this?? Thanks

it mite not even be broken, it mite be getting stuck on the gauges.. try to tape down the gauges so they're more flat. Or remove the indiglo gauges, and see if the needle still has the problem, if it does then u broke it.. if not then just tape the indiglos down

No I have a manual. I checked to see if it was rubbing on the gauge face - its not. What else could it be?
