I swapped a reman ss auto tranny in my lude today and after installation the car will only go in gear on R or 2. D4, D3 and 1 dont work. Any suggestions?
D light not flashing, and sometimes the tranny locks up as in it cant go past N to go into Park. I got it via advance auto. The dude say they are going to get it to a tranny shop tomorrow to get it checked out. The problem is I have to get to home 200 miles away cuz I got work tomorrow.
CEL came on with 1399 and 1491
Also I installed some new EC3 spark plugs with Autolite wires and now I have multiple misfires, could it be that the pugs are not compatible with the engine?
My main reason for not swapping to manual is because I am going turbo soon.

These spark plug wires + wires... are they made for your car? Are they gap-ed correctly?
It *Might* be a bad solenoid... I suppose it wouldnt hurt to try. It sounds like its kicking the bucket.

Tranny sent back and money refunded. I am also getting money for labor as well.
good deal, now you need to swap your common sense because putting a turbo in an SS is a foolish move. It is the fact that all that power will kill the tranny so fast. I understand if turbos were cheap, but a setup is a lot of money, just to waste on a car that will fail.
Oh, but I'm not done yet, I think your extra stupid because of your reasoning behind wanting to ignorantly turbo a car that is destined to break.......

...What a fool, pay a couple fo grand to fix a car that is destined to break, pay another grand or so to turbo it just cause you seen it b4....and then watch it break twice as fast again......kit car or not, it's an insane idea, financially and intelligently.
I hope you firgure out a better plan before you go along with this, but at least you got a refund.
