HELP!! Squeaking Noise

Hi,

Just got my car lowered with gc coilovers on stock shocks and now when ever I drive on slow speeds or go over a uneven road car makes a squeaking noise from the front passenger side only...had anyone else had the same problem?

stock shocks+GC's do not mix =/

What condition were the bump stops in? Did you replace and or cut them?

Oh. Bump stops go on the strut itself, and keep the strut from being compressed too much (bottoming out). Without it, the tires will rub on bumps and turning uphill, if you hit the wrong pothole you can blow your struts. OEM shocks are not meant to be lowered, so look into buying aftermarket adjustables... They will blow and when they do you'll be bouncing like crazy.

Im having the same issue. I bought my prelude with coilovers already installed, no idea what brand or what shocks are in it, however Im having the same annoying squeking sound from the front passenger side only, almost sounds like a slight crunching sound. And whenever I make a left turn onto an incline I hear a metal grind/ping sound from that area.
