can the light be caused by something grounding out? and if so, where should I check first. This car ****ing hates me.

Ok I have to ask is it full of oil...

As for the wire being cut and redone, make sure its tight not at all loose because i changed my pressure sensor and the wire wasnt fully att. and it did the same thing your talking about....

YES it has oil and yes the wire is attached. solved
