Help With New Headlights

I recently purchased a new set of headlights ( eBay Motors: *CCFL HALO 97-01 HONDA PRELUDE PROJECTOR HEADLIGHTS BK (item 310022044796 end time Feb-10-08 12:09:47 PST) ). The old ones weren't stock and had been installed by the previous owner and had film and fogging issues, which is why I purchased the new ones. Anyways go the old ones out and put the new ones in. The High and Low beams or lights work fine, however if you view the ebay auction page and look at the pictures you can see three separate lights located on the outer edges of each light. These three lights are what I believe to be the "turn signals or blinkers." They are connected using the blue connector which can also be seen in the pictures of the lights. The blue connector fit in the old headlight socket, i just had to remove the old bulb. The three separate lights illuminate when the high or low beams are on and stay lit, but do not show any blinking characteristics of any sort, just illuminate. The lights did come with this picture which I believe shows the blue type connector from the ebay auction going into a socket which I couldnt not locate when installing the new headlights. Here is a link to that picture...

Anyways I didn't see any connector that looked like the Circled 2 in the picture. My question is where is that connection located if it is indeed on the lude and i missed it or where and what do i need to do to get this connector to then use the blinkers/signals on these new headlights? Has anyone else come across a similar problem with the blinking characteristics on aftermarket headlights? Any help would be greatly appreciated.. Ive done tons of searching with no real soultion/help, so I thought id throw this on the PO forums cuz you guys are the best and know your ****.

PS I dont know if this is related to the headlight blinkers but my fogs/bumper turn signals do not work either, all the connections looked fine when i installed the new headlights. These bumper turn signals and fogs never worked since I purchased the vehicle as well. I posted a topic on this a little earlier located here

Turn Signal Question

Thanks ahead of time and I tried to be as clear as possible, but if you dont get what i tried to explain please let me know and ill try to explain it better. If necessarry tomorrow I will take some pics and what not to show you what i mean.

THANKS AGAIN

I bought the same headlights and its not a blinker. I was kinda upset to but think about how the cops would feel if you had blinking blue lights and some more blue lights lol. They dont like that. That peace they plug into is where the old park light that goes into the stock headlight is. I think its on the bottom part. Are you talking about the halos or the little leds near the bottom?

The three little lights on the outer edge/bottom of the lights.. On the auction it says excellent blinking characteristics though... You sure they aren't blinkers?

do they come on when your parking lights are on? thats how mine are. if you really want them to blink just tap directly into your turn signals.

They absolutely are not supposed to blink, at least not for the prelude. I would strongly advise against making them blink, technically you can get a felony charge for impersonating an emergency vehicle if you have any kind of flashing light (ANY color except amber) on the front of your car. I like my lights tho, hope you enjoy yours

actually they are supposed to be like the new audis, those little lights are preferably used as city driving lights and i believe that even if yours wont work that way thats what the designer was trying to impersonate in this case also you could use these lights another way ive seen this on numerous other cars not just ludes a guy on my street has them on his focus and is currently using his as daytime running lights

Does anyone have any pictures of the non-blacked out ebay ones? My OEM lights are fogged bad and I'm in need of a replacement.

Hey, have you tried this for your headlights? It's on ebay and really works. You can get it for around $15.00. I've used it on a bunch of headlights.
