Help JDM fog owners

I installed the fogs over the weekend. They look great. They worked fine too, till today.

I was in my gf's driveway, with the car started, warming up. And then I pushed the button in, it turned green or whatever, and they looked as though they came on for a second, and then never came on again.

What the hell happened? A fuse blew? If so, which fuse? Is there a foglight fuse?

I'm pissed man.

at least your worked.... I installed mine and I can't even get it to turn on...

I checked the power with a meter.. only about 6volts of power is coming through... could this be due to a bad ground connection...?

My experience

I bought a used set of JDM fogs and installed them according to one of the threads on here and mine still didn't work-the switch light would come on green but no lights out front.

At first I thought it was blown bulbs since they were used so I took the outside harness-the part that connects directly to the housings and hooked the orange wire to th + on my battery and the black wire to the - and they lit up just fine. So I knew it was a bad connect somewhere.

I reinstalled and found that for some reason the grounding point out on the front of the radiator wasn't giving a good ground so I spliced a longer piece of wire on to the ground wire and ran it to where the battery grounds to the radiator support and now everything works just fine.

same thing with mine... I find that there is no connection from the ground bolt infront of the radiator.. so I took the bolt out and spent 10 mins cleaning and sanding and doing everything I can think off to clean off the area.

NOW MY FOGS WORK AND I'M VERY PROUD OF MYSELF... LOL~~

Thank you so much for your help man! I checked the ground, and it was that. I sanded down the frame where I bolted it on, and wired everything together. It worked, at least for now. I'm keeping my fingers crossed since they worked when I first put them in. I think the best idea though, was to extend the ground to a better spot. If I have to go back in there again, I'm gonna be even more pissed.

Thank you so much pree.
