help install a autometer air fuel gauge for 99 prelude

i just got a air fuel guage from autometer and dont know where the wires go and i dont want too hook it up too the catylic o2 sensor is there a wire inside the cabin maybe the ecu or something if you guys know pictures and diagrams will be nice thanks

Well, for power, wire it up to a 12v power source. The "power outlet" is the prime choice, or possibly the clock or run a wire directly to the fuse box on the driver's side kick panel. For the ground, just ground it behind the hood relase switch, that is a solid grounding point.

For wiring up the actual signal wire(purple), the easiest place to run it from is the ECU. There are 4 10mm(i think) bolts holding down the cover for it. Remove those, then pull upwards. The ecu will be bolted to the top of the shield. You'll be able to see the wires when you pull it up. The wire you want is on the right most harness going into the ecu. It will be on the first line of wires on the hareness, 2nd down i belive. It is an all white wire. Just use a wire tap, or sheer away some of the white wire, and wrap the purple wire around it, and tape it up REALLY well. This wire is from the o2 sensor in the header, and will give you a more accurate reading than the cat sensor.
