Help! I have a serious Oil Leak

Okay so I have a 97 Lude type SH. I have had the car since august and it has had a slow oil leak since i have had it. Last week I was driving and oil light came on. Well i was headin to work and was like i will look at it when i get off. Well I forgot after and headin home my car locks up shuts off then i drop it off at my friends house right down the street where it locked up and shut off on me. Hoping i wasnt going to blow the engine, which i didnt. (Thank god.)

So when i got home, there was a puddle of oil leading from my house all the way to work damn near. I worked on it, thinking it was the oil pan gasket, which it wasnt. So i changed the oil pan gasket, for some of you, you know you have to take off god knows how many things just to get to it, put it back together and turned it on..well oil came pouring out still.

Looking at the the back of the engine block underneath the filrt about 7 inches towards the ground is where it is coming from. if u look from underneath the driver side at the oil pan, the leak run off the silver thing right of the oil pan. and it just pours out. i will post some pics where. Anyone kno where it is leaking from and how to stop it? Thanks for reading, Kurtis.

My suggestions:

1. Take an English class.
2. Check the oil filter and make sure it isn't loose.
3. Check the oil cooler.
4. Rear main seal.

Search under oil cooler o-ring.You'll find explanation on this issue. Mine went out last week-same problem as yours. $3.00 piece and less than an hours work.

I am also replacing my oil cooler o-ring today. The new o-ring is not sitting in the groove. It looks a little big. I bought it from the dealer. Is this normal or could they have given me the wrong one?

Wrong one should fit in the grove.

Is it leaking by the crankshaft damper? I would look in to buy a new oil pump, locking the motor cracks the oil gear edit: most of the time.

Look at all these guesses, the dumbest way to diag an oil leak is to look from the bottom since there's this thing that large masses in space create called gravity.

Sounds like you just killed your engine from oil starvation.

You Sir, are Hilarious. I would try looking from above, but there's this thing called PGM-FI, which somehow magically seems to be in the way from seeing the leak from above. But from underneath i can actually see where the oil is coming from.

What are you bumping for? Nobody on this board is going to be able to tell YOU where YOUR oil leak is without looking at the car. Clean the engine then check again.

mate, why don't you read the thread again and look at all the advice these good people gave you. This can be a dozen different things. Your video doesnt explain anything. This leak can be coming from a place wayyy higher than what u show in your video. Comon be realistic.
