I've just got my rims in, i got 17's Rota Subzero's with 45 offset. I got some eibach prokits, and it seems like when i hit a bump or turning, i am rubbing in the rear. I have stock shocks. also i have 45 series tires. Is my car too low? Should it be rubbing at all, or should i get so coilovers and raise it a bit, with some new shocks. Since i put the rims on my tires are all almost flush with the fender wall.

Thanks guys!
prokits dont drop more than 1.3" so that is fine... it is probably mostly your 45 tire profile... What is the complete sizing of your tires? 215/45/17 or 225/45/17 or etc...
If you do a search here on rubbing issues you will probably find alot of people here have shaved the protruding edges inside their wheelwell solving their rubbing issues...

Ur kidding right? I just received my Sub-Zeros too, but w/48 offset. I plan on running 215/45/17's and I'm dropped w/Neuspeed Sports & KYB AGX's. I'm certainly hoping that ur rubbing cuz ur stock shocks are getting worn down too quickly which leads to u bottoming out. If that's not the case I'm in trouble too!!!

I think I answered this one a while back. WHat you have is a pair of nubs on the bumper cover near the retaining bolt at the joint for the fender lip. You can feel in there and find it on both sides-cut the small piece of plastic off and goodby rub. Also make sure that the lip protector plastic/rubber cover thing is properly positioned.
That should fix it for you

I had to do this also. Took 3 minutes with a dremel.
My setup: 215/40/17 tires, 17x7 with +43 offset, Pro-Kit w/ APS/Koni Yellows ----> No more rubbing....

yea man i am running 215/45/17's, i am hoping its the shocks also
yep file that thing off if you never put on chains. its there so that if you ever put on chains that protrusion warns that you dont have enough clearance. i just took a wood file, lifted the car without taking off the wheels and filed it off...maybe 10min each side max. i use 215/45/17 with 45mm offset 17x7 lowered 2.75inches with TEIN HA's. no rubbing.
just look where the rear bumper meets the fender. you will see a plastic protrusion (off the rear bumper) pointing towards the tire sidewall.
