My h22a4 engine just blew on my bb6 97' prelude. =/

I am having a real tough time finding a h22a4 to swap,
however I've found a lot of jdm h22a's and jdm h22a1's.

It seems really tempting to purchase the h22a b/c they're cheaper.

So, Is this swap possible? I heard you only have to swap the oil pump from the a4 to the a1? Is this true? What other problems should i address? OBD I to OBD II? Anything else I should know guys...thanks.

P.S. I really really want to get my baby back running.

H22A1 is not JDM.

You can swap any of them without mechanical problems, however, you will run into legal problems.

Best solution: Leave the horrible **** stain that is SoCal, and quit blowing your motor.

my fault, i knew the h22a1 wasn't jdm.

so then the h22a1 should swap into the bb6 with no problems?

I guess you didn't read my post. You might have legal problems with SMOG and such. It's not the original engine, but yes, it will swap right in.
