Help. Connector near back of motor thats never had a mate.

I have no idea what this goes too, its never gone to anything since i bought the car, Ive searched and searched and have no idea what it is, its the plug above the pre cat o2 sensor plug shown here. Ive changed a tranny, and been all over this motor and cannot find its mate. The white thing is the oil filter.

It's basically an extension for the ECU to be tapped into for whatever reason. It's listed in either the HELMS or the electrical manual for our car... i can't remember which exactly. It stays capped off, never has a mate.

I've pulled apart the harness and traced it.... WORST decision ever while the intake manifold is on the motor...and having the motor in the car...

It splits in every direction from that point to misc. sensors. If you were to completely re-do your harness (i plan to, which is why i ended up looking into it to begin with) you can trace each wire and de-pin it just to get rid of it. But that's quite a bit of work lol
