Help with Check Engine Light?

I have a 2001 SH. The check engine light have been coming on a lot lately within the past 1/2 year. Each time, it ran a different code, like missing cylinders, catalytic converter, etc... I have already did a tune up and change the cat already but these error codes keep popping up. My mechanic and I are both stomp and think it may be a problem with the car's computer/sensor. Any suggestion/input on this situation would be greatly appreciated!

How does your car idle? Is it pretty rough? Does your exhaust make a putt putt putt sound when it's idling? If you can't hear it then put your hand over the exhaust and see if it's a smooth flow or not. Let me know.

The secondary O2 sensor will not change the way your cars runs/performs. Meaning it would no cause misfires or issues like that.

It is simply there to ensure the catalytic converter is present and working.

What was all changed when you did the tune up? Have your mechanic done a compression check to make sure everything is good with the engine? I would try that if he hasn't.

The tune up includes: pcv valve, spark plugs, ignition wires, distributor cap and rotor, and both 02 sensor. Right after the tune up was done, I did a emission test the following week for my vehicle and passed.

Do a compression test and see what condition the cylinders are in.

I would also highly recommend cleaning out your EGR ports and valve, while you're at it, clean your IACV as well

Would an after market cat cause the engine to read misfiring cylinder?
