Help!!! Atts and cel(check engine light) are on and idle prob - Honda Prelude Forum

Im new to this. I just bought a 98sh and it has about 85k miles. I was driving normal when all of a sudden my car started reving by itself. When i got home my atts light went on then a while after both atts and check engine light were on and the car would rev up and down by itself. Any suggestions on how to fix this problem. I would appriciate it.

i already looked for the OBD1 so i could get the codes but it doesnt have it there or anywhere under the dash

First of all, 5th gens are OBDII. Secondly, the plug is there. Look again.

yeah i had a feeling that it was obdII and well i still cant find it
i looked in the center under the radio and under the dash but
its just not there..from what i know the IIowner did a motor swap
and from what it looks like he got all the wiring redone
