Help: AP1 wheel Fitment

Hi All,

I am hoping that some of you experts can help me with my issue. I am looking to purchase a dedicated winter wheels/tires for my prelude. Someone is selling a set of the ap1 wheels with 205/55/16 winter tires on them. These are staggered wheels. Can you run none stagger tires on these staggered wheels? Finally, will this setup on work? Thank you in advance.

I did search and found conflicting results. I am also lowered on d2 coilovers. I just dont want to have to buy spacers or roll the fenders. So, anyone with experiences with some input would be greatly appreciated.

Neither the fronts nor the rears would fit the Prelude straight up. The factory wheels are hub-centric and using bulge-type lug nuts. The wheel must sit on the vehicle's hub because the lug nuts are to press the wheel against the hub only and not to support vehicle's weight like the conical nuts used for aftermarket wheels. The S2000's front wheel has 70mm center bore so it's not gonna fit correctly. The rear wheel has the correct center bore but the offset is inappropriate.

So to answer your question, this setup is not gonna work as it comprises 3 major problems: 1) wrong center bore, 2) wrong offset, and 3) staggered configuration.

I would to say thank you to everyone that contributed to this thread. I decided to go with the sh wheels because the ap1 appears to cause too much issues. I just need something to get by for the winter because I don't want to ruin my Volks wheels during the winter months.
