Heh.... FogLight Question

I've asked this b4, but i haven't gotten the appropriate response yet.

I sold Darth Luder my foglights, and he had me install them for him. I couldn't get them to work properly, and he needs me to fix them for him.

this is wut i got.

USDM Fogs
USDM Exterior Harness
USDM Switch
JDM Interior Harness

I've got it all connected correct, but i couldnt get the lights to turn on. So we jerry rigged it with two wires, and a singel switch to turn them on. But he wants the USDM switch in there cuz it doesn't look right and whatnot.

Does anyone know what i need. I really don't have the money to buy him a USDM harness to get it to work.

Thanks,

USDM harness is different, has an extra relay. There is one in my car that is not being used. Make me an offer and I'll take it out, that is if you make it worth my while.

Since you already have the JDM interior harness and USDM switch you could try the connection method (swapping of two wires on the JDM interior harness and plug shaving/modification) that I described in my post in the thread at JDM fog experts . need your help on how to install using USDM interior harness

I was using the JDM exterior harness so I'm not completely sure it'll work in your case but it's an easy enough thing to try.

Get your lights back and give him his cash. Doesn't sound like a cool deal... Nobody needs enemies.

If he wants the USDM harness, then he should fork out the cash for any parts or relays needed. Sounds like you're getting used. If he wants it set up different to how it was in your car then get your cash back or have him buy the needed parts.
