Headlight Retrofit Questions

I'm having some oem headlight's retrofitted by Brian (Prelude1897) and would like some input on the different projector choices. A lot of people seem to like the TSX projectors but I hear they are overrated and overpriced. I didn't even know you could use FX-35 projectors so I'd love to hear some input on those.

I'm liking the morimoto mini's for the price but would like some pictures or feedback too.

e46-ok
tsx-colorful, nice cutoff, only low beam
e55-i liked, big though, not as colorful as tsx, bixenon
fx35-my favorite so far, no complaints, bixenon.

I like the fact that the fx-35's are bi-xenon and look cleaner in our headlights. I have not seen many pictures of them though..

If I had to do it again I would go Bi. Love my TSX set up as that was available back then and would do it again. But now with Bi set ups available it's stupid not to go that route.

The fx-35's look soooo good. I hear the cut-off is good and the bi-xenon feature is great. Very expensive so I may go with a cheaper projector.

I'm having Brian do mine too. I feel like a headlight retrofit should be a one and done type of deal. I would get the projector you want, even if it falls a bit out of your budget.

those are nice. I saw a picture of that fx35 cutoff and it was ridiculousss. These projectors are all pretty similar.

thanks guys, they are all nice as hell. I guess it comes down to what I need out of a headlight system. I have regular hid's now and I think I'm done with pissing the world off with those.

The fx setup is nice but it is 700 for everything but the headlights I'm shipping brian.

I guess you gotta pay to play these days.

the d2s morimoto's i think are nice, and they are bi. personally if i had to do it again i'd get them again. i'm not paying $200 for the output of the fx vs the mini. Sometime i'll probably buy the mini's to go in my jeep.

Yea I suppose I really don't need an extra $200 in light output. I live in a pretty well lit area as opposed to some that are dodging moose in alaska and really need that bright ass output + bi-xenon highbeam.

tsx or morimoto's are priced better.

we have 0 street lights where i live, but i only have to dodge javelinas and coyotes. but i'm cheap and don't see spending the extra $ on it. these do the job 100x better than stock.
