Hi guys, I have a 5th gen and recently installed a newer stereo. (had an aftermarket before too) however, this one won't turn on or will turn off if I open my door turn the interior dome light switch to the off or manually on position or if the dome buttons are in the on position. Any help or ideas would be great help. Thanks!

sounds like you tapped into a wrong power source. check your 12v power source, make sure its getting constant power supply then your acc pwr- make sure its getting power when you turn the ignition to acc position.

I used a wire harness adapter to hook into the stock. The wire that is my power which is yellow is the 12v and has constant power off the battery. The red accessory power wire only has power to it when the key is turned to accessory. It won't turn on until the key is turned, but if the door is opened or one of the other things happen it shuts off the unit.
