Finding anything under 70k is going to be pretty hard. Just keep up the search for that right one (all over again in your case lol)

best of luck

(you can also try the other forums like honda tech prelude power and prelude zone)

first of all welcome back! glad you are still in the Honda family. Yeah get that Prelude as a project, you can find one cheap and just build it. Get a motor from Japan, they are usually really low miles. Keep the Accord as DD.

ahh ok, so you are looking for a well kept Prelude with low miles. hmm, its getting harder to find that these days, but it's possible if you keep looking and being patient.

You're not going to find one in the condition you want and the Accord, well, you're about to lose a lot of money on it since mods on a car decrease it's value big time. Don't mod a car you aren't going to keep.

In Pensacola Florida, there is a Honda Dealership with a BRAND NEW 2001 Prelude with 130 miles on it.

Yes, they are asking 17000 for it last time i checked, but it has almost no miles on it, and if your looking for something that is in good condition and you KNOW it...

I would definately check them out, ill look for the dealership and find out for ya if i can.

huh.... is this that same one that was left in a storage facility and discovered just over a year ago?

If it is;

For sitting so long- the car would require a full overhaul with a good chance of those seals and fuel lines needing to be replaced.

They keep dropping the price because nobody is going to buy a 10+ year old car for that much. Originally i think they were asking 21000

It may have been, I live in central florida. But I love preludes and a buddy of mine mentioned it to me.

Yes, it would require some work... BUT, if you are looking for a prelude with low miles, mint condition... It would be the way to go.

You are more likely going to find one with higher mileage and just put some money into freshening it up a little.
I have a 99 with 89,000kms on it and a blown motor due to to much boost....now I have a built engine going in to take more boost and will have much more fun this time around!!

Good luck on your hunt!

If the car were stored properly all it would really need is new oil, trans and brake fluid. Other than that the tires would need some air.
