Damn Diza, what do you do, live in it??
My 97 has almost 78,000 on it. I am being paranoid and getting the timing belt replaced this weekend.
As for 60,000 I didn't do anything but a tune up.

How can the low mileage ppl here stand not driving their lude as much as possible??
Not sure if I could stand it! Although, it would be nice to have lower miles on it.

2000 = 27,500 miles. Should I go into the Honda dealership to do the 30,000 mile tune-up? I think this includes oil change, valve adjustment, timing belt replacement, and some little stuff. How much does this usually run? Thanks.

Well they recommend the timing belt be changed at about 90,000 I believe so you shouldn't have to mess with that right now! I called the Honda-Acura dealership here and to do the timing belt and water pump, plus check other things, they wanted 780 bucks. Holy Sh!t. (445 at a performance shop and that's including installing my Skunk2 cam gears)
I have never brought my car to a dealership anyway because I have a pretty good mechanic I trust. I have no idea how much the 30,000 mile check should be but I would guess anything there would be expensive.

Happy 90,000 to my 97 Lude. Wish I could say it has been perfect, but it hasn't. Recently rebuilt the SS tranny... sigh. Got a nagging BRAKE and SRS lights that go in and out, and the dealer doesn't know what to do with them. Other than that, runs great though. I noticed in the manual that the timing belt does not need replacing till 105,000 miles--and usually the manual is pretty conservative, so i'll wait a bit.
Happy Luding
