I took the vtec silenoid off to make sure it was clean and receiving oil but its still not working. What else could b wrong with it?

Well, it could be the level of your oil. Have you checked your motor oil?
Do you have a check engine light?

Well, it could be the level of your oil. Have you checked your motor oil?
Do you have a check engine light?

i warm it up and everything oil is good. and all haters and direspectful cunts your help is not appreciated. i changed the oil and replaced the housing recently. mayb that affected it?

As I said, your motor oil level can disable the VTEC from kicking in. check it after it's sat overnight.

I think we need a more detailed description of EXACTLY whats happening, and how you know it's not operable.

hahaa yea im half japanese lol. ummm well detailed problems. none really. theres no oil leaks or anything vtec just isnt working. ummm.....mayb the silenoid needs replacing idk? this 5th gen is my first car to b honest.

can you rev the car past 6500? The factor ECU wont let you rev the car to 7400 on the low side of the cam.
oil presure, engine temp and some other factors have to be in/on spec to allow the vtec to switch over.
did you install any after market elect. I.E. VTEC controller or something that might be getting in the way of the factor systems
