i still can't decide which springs to chose... the h&r have a drop of 1.4 all around and the neuspeeds have a drop of 1.5 in the front and 1.7 in the rear. i've heard a lot of excelent things about both but somebody changed my mind yesterday into wanting h&r. im gonna be doing auto-x and ima get new shox but anybody with experience with any of these springs, please add input. it would be apreciated.
The Neuspeeds are progressive-rated which means they have 2 diff. spring rates within the spring. the top half is softer for daily-driving/comfort, where the more it compresses the stiffer the rates get. I like this feature quite a bit since roads in NYC are to say the least!
H&R's are linear wound if I remember correctly, but offer an even drop all-around.
Forgot to mention that even though the Neuspeeds have a diff of .2" in front to back, it's hardly noticable at all!
I think ur decision comes down to how much of a drop u want?
Either are great. I loved my sports when I had them and were nice to autox on. Just depends on what look you want. I would have liked the look of the H&R or the Neuspeeds personally.

I heard that the H&R' s are the higher-end Neuspeeds.......Might be a bunch of crap - I don't know. I do know that I had H&R Sport springs put on with Tokicos in October and the handling is awesome - they make a great handling car even that much better, especially with uprated wheels and tires.
I went for performance rather than just "lowering" for looks. I though that the Sports would be more practical than Race springs. They've been well worth my money so far....
I've had nothing but good experiences with Neuspeeds though - just don't have them on my car. Others who have them are very pleased (a good friend has them on his GTI).
So basically I'm giving you absolutley no help in your decision..
I drove my friends 98 lude w/ neuspeed springs on stock shocks and it was smooth and handled great ---- It looked like a good drop too......... he has had them for about 2 yrs. But I have heard nothing but good stuff from H&R sports

here's some advice.......go for whichever you can get a better deal on! they are both very good.....I got my springs for $130 (they were actually a gift from my girl) & I love them. Both springs are very close in drop & quality, so just go for the cheaper

I had the sports on till I bought my kit... they were great.. I just live in a trucker area where there are speed bumps galore the size of mt. fugi... but with the amount of money i put into the kit and painted.. i said **** it till i move outta here.
I'm selling my sports for a one bill shipped.

The NEuspeed SPort springs are a good compromise for a car being used for both autox and daily driving. These springs are definitely stiffer than stock to begin with, but comfortable. The front drop is 1.7 and the rear 1.5. The car will actually be very close to level at all 4 jack points. I think the look is good. Clearances have been no problem in the rear -shave the 2 little nubs off the bumper cover.

I got mine from King Motorsports for $149. They took about 10 days b/c they were out of stock. I shopped around a little and found King was on the cheaper side. I ordered over the phone with Bill(I think his name was) and he was helpful - letting me know he was out of stock and when they would be in. He kept his word and was honest, unlike a lot of places out on the West Coast.
Thanks,I have been lookin around for a good price, I really want to get them............... I have seen them for like 139 but off course when you are ready to get something you can never find it.
