Ground Control Coilovers with Koni Yellows

I am very close to purchasing GC coilovers.
I am going to have to run them on stock shocks for now until I get enough $ for Koni Yellows.
If I order the GC's that fit up with the Koni's will I be able to run them on stock first?
I have seen sites where you can get GC's that mount up with stock, KYB AGX, Tokico Illumina all for the same GC part number.
But, if I want GC's that mount up with Koni's that is a separate part number and it seems like that is the only shock they will mount to.
So, my question will GC's designed for the Koni Yellow work on my stock shocks for awhile.
I have a 98 SH and Im not too concerned about ride comfort or spring rates.
Thanks.

you should be fine. Just explain to whomever you order the GC's from that you will be using them on stock struts, then moving them to koni's later on. They should be able to fix you up just fine.

I *think* that the GC sleeves are different for Koni's and stock. I'm not 100% sure, but I recall someone posting that in the past. Considering you found 2 different part numbers, I'm guessing that they are in fact, different.

I would just save up the money for the Koni's and get them installed at the same time as the coilover sleeves. You'll need an alignment after you install the springs, and again after you do the shocks, so you might as well get them all done at once.

Are the KYB AGX and Tokico Illumina close to being as good as the Koni Yellows?

Ok, so I take it the adapter will allow me to mount Koni's to the GC's later on. Without the adapter I can run them on stock right?
I saw in a previous post you wanted 350$ shipped. Is that still the case or have you gone lower.
Thanks.

ummm yea, 350 was the original price, cause i paid 348 shipped, might as well make some prophite. but now i think 280 is more of a reasonable price.
