Greddy EVO

Im looking to purchase a cat back system and am leaning towards the new Greddy EVOlution. Since it is fairly new I havent much about it except that it has great ground clearance. Is it quiter than the PE? Is there a hp gain? For anywhere between $450 and $550 I want some idea of what Im getting. Any clips would greatly be appreciated for audio or opinions will do.

The EVO is a really nice exhaust. I love mine!!! Great fit & finish and a very nice deep mellow exhaust tone at idle and lift/low throttle settings. Jump on it & it lets you know it's there. You control the sound level with the throttle.

I'm dropped 1.8" with Koni Yellows & Eibach Prokits and I don't scrape anywhere. The slightly offset can looks nicer than the PE in my opinion because it sits higher up under the car and looks more like it belongs.

The pipes are coated steel, so if you live or drive in snow/salt a lot, you might look at a full stainless system like Thermal R&D which some of the guys on here love.

Aside from that someone did have a soundclip on the old board, but I don't remember who. Sniff around on the 4th gen forum too... may have been one of them. I really can't remember. There are pics around too. Mine were lost when Photopoint went to a pay site

Good Choice!

The Greddy Evo is an excellent system!
In fact, all Greddy products are quality high-end stuff.

However, the Evo is pretty loud, it's practically the same as the PE except for better clearance. And IMO the PE is one loud motherfvcker!!

Someone correct me, but don't the Evo and PE have the same sized downpipes? If so, u will lose quite a bit of low-end, as the two systems are designed for FI or "somewhat modified" vehicles. Other than that this is a great system.

Send them to me too! I just put turbo on and I have stripped bolts for my cat so I'm thinking of replacing whole exhaust system including downpipe. Thanks! lilaznboi168@hotmail.com
