I've replaced neither on the Prelude, but done both on others cars and it was no sweat. In the US, cheap presses are, well...cheap!
I've replaced the wheels bearings on some cars and a press wasn't necessary at all. They could be tapped in and out with a socket. The axle/axle-nut are what keep them in on many cars.
Check the factory manual and see what all is involved...was your car having issues, or did they just tell you this, unsolicited? If there's no apparent problem you might have some time to think it over.
