go or show

Now that i was robbed by allstate for my insurance this year, i need to rebuild my finances towards what direction i want to take my prelude in first. I am thinking of about a $1000 budget. Should i get the h and a oem lip kit and painted or go for for the whole intake exhaust header bolt on direction?

its really your choice :/

How do you like to drive your lude?

A lot of members on this board pretty much will tell you to do whatever you want, its your prelude. Most are pretty biased towards the clean lip kits as far as that goes though (wwrs, mugen, oem).

The H/I/E combo isn't really going to give you all that much go power... but it depends on what you want the end result of your car to be.

I would definitely get the oem lipkit painted and put on. I/H/E will not do anything but make the car a little noisy, maybe feel a small pedal response difference. But the lip kit painted will be something you're definitely proud of everyday.

But may I make another good suggestion? Get new suspension and lower it with some adjustable coilovers. Will handle a lot better and look good at the same time!! I just put a set of Tein Super Streets on my car and it's by far my favorite mod yet!

i agree 100%. sure it sounds good to say you have these mods. 200 for brand name intake, up to a g in exhaust /header./.. just not worth it IMO unless you plan on doing some serious future mods.
