How is Vertex with their installs? I talked t Steve and he said that he's done a lot of installs for basically every make and model. He said he's done about 50 preludes in my style, but he's not a certified mechanic. He did say he will provide a lifetime warranty.

Vertex: $150 for labor

should I go for it?
U can come to Harrisburg, PA and i know someone who will do it for $70

Do NOT get the alignment done right away. The spring will settle and you may have to align again. Mine actually didn't even need an alignment when I got done. Cost $29 for their time though...

Don't argue with stupid people, they will bring you to their level and beat you with experience.

price wise its not a bad deal compared to other quotes I got. I guess its the going rate in VA.

But for those of you who have got work done at Vertex can you vouch for them in saying that they do good reliable work?

Thanks

he said he'll also install my exhaust back on my car for $40.

DIY, then go in for an alignment.

I'm getting the lifetime thingy since I have coilovers.

hey Preylude my cousin got ground control coilovers installed at vertex, they know what there doin in all but there really rough with your car.....

when the mechanic had finished my cousin told him if he could take off the splash guards and the mechanic was like sure , but instead of taking the screws out and stuff he just ripped them off.....

150 sounds pretty good though compared to other places in Va.

one of my friends knows how to do springs/shocks suspension and all but i dunno if you wanna take the risk.....

Guy droping a lude is no rocket science. Any mechanic can do it. He doesn't have to be F1 aproved. A regret not doing it myself. But I had no tools. Like someone mentioned before, I think it was Mugenlude. Do not do an alignment for atleast a month. The setup has to settle first.
