gettin a good deal on Mugen exhaust?

This guy I kno at my school is selling his Mugen exhaust.

My questions are:

1. I have an SS tranny. His Mugen exhaust is for a 5-speed base...Will it work with mine?

2. He has used the exhaust for about 7-8k miles...He also is asking for something around $700..........is this a good deal?

3. Do exhausts last a lifetime, like intakes? I know Mugen is like the Prada for exhuasts, but does it have a long life?

It will work on your SS aslong as he had a base lude I would say it will last your car if u take good care of it by not hitting or scratching it. $700 seems alright

What is takakaira? The only places I've been able to find in the U.S. Mugen goes for $925 and up! (Before shipping)
