GC Coilover- What spring rate on stock shocks???

what spring rate (ground control coilovers) would u recommend for a daily drive 5G lude, on stock shocks. i want to drop it about 1.5 inches. also, what is the spring rate ground control gives u if u dont specify what spring rate u want?

id go with just H&R sports if your gonna use stock shocks, dont bother with GC's

regardless what aftermarket springs you use, you're gonna hafta replace the stockers in a years time. So it really doesnt matter.

But probably, lower the spring rate the better.

yeahif ur really gonna go with GC's get the base spring setup. I personally am running 475f 400r on koni sport shocks. But i think the base setup is like 350f 250r or something like that.

I think the base spring setup is slightly less than that, but 350f/250r isn't going to be punishing in daily driving. You will notice that it is definitely stiffer than stock.

how low do the H&Rs drop? the base spring rate is okay for stock shocks?

Race ~2.75?


And DOES NOT matter which spring rate you chose, you are going to end up replacing your shocks eventually.
